The goal was to design a branded card game that would encourage team engagement and spark discussions on key topics relevant to Kraft Heinz’s future vision. The game needed to reflect the company’s identity while providing an enjoyable and educational experience for its employees. My task was to adopt the brand’s visual identity, integrating its most recognizable elements, and create a cohesive, visually compelling deck that maintained the professional yet playful spirit of the company.

Design Approach

Design Approach

I approached this project by carefully blending Kraft Heinz’s brand essence with the functional requirements of the game. The design concept was built around the idea of incorporating familiar and iconic elements of the brand into the game visuals to create an instant connection with employees. This meant using symbolic imagery, such as the famous ketchup bottle, various food-related icons, and the company's color palette, to immerse players in the Kraft Heinz universe.


The card game was designed with multiple elements in mind:


  • Brand Alignment: I maintained strict adherence to the Kraft Heinz visual language, using its recognizable red, blue, and white colors as the base palette. The iconic product illustrations, such as ketchup bottles and food items, were employed as visual motifs across the cards, tying the game’s branding back to the company’s core identity.


  • Typography and Layout: I selected clean and modern typography that mirrors the brand’s existing corporate communication, ensuring readability and a professional look. Each card was structured to balance playful illustrations with well-organized information, providing a seamless user experience during gameplay.


  • Visual Consistency: To ensure cohesion throughout the deck, I designed a series of icons and graphic elements that reinforced the brand’s values and story. This consistency helped maintain a professional look while making the game more visually engaging and interactive.
